Authentic Modellbau Club [AMC]

The AMC - Authentic Modellbau Club - Vienna has been in existence since 1986. Originally involved in the construction of all kinds of models, this club has specialised in the construction of modules for model railways in "N" gauge (i.e. 1:160 scale) since 1989.

The members meet every week in the so-called club cellar, which is also a warehouse, workshop, planning office and communication centre. This is where new modules are planned, created and designed, locomotives are repaired, new products on the market or general topics are discussed. A club evening is held on the last Friday of every month in the "Ottakringer Stub'n" at Ottakringer Straße 152, Vienna 16. At these meetings, club life is discussed, new exhibitions are planned, new products on the market are presented and, of course, the cosy atmosphere is not forgotten.

Any model railway enthusiast who enjoys this hobby, regardless of age and gender, and likes to meet like-minded people, can become a member of the AMC.
